![]() There were plenty of lounge chairs - they were in OK condition. ![]() It looked like there were beach towels you could get if you needed them. I actually didn't end up going in more than my feet but many guests and children seemed to be enjoying the facility. I just took the risk and slept with the door unlocked. I did not bother reporting this back to the hotel - I had already been to them 3 times about my other room and did not have the time or energy. For this one, I was able to get in but the actual lock did not work from the inside. The second room was about the same condition. They happily accommodated me (again, the staff was super helpful and nice). After leaving my room to check out the pool, I returned not being able to get in again and decided I didn't feel safe and asked to change rooms. The sheets and covering were thin - the air conditioner was loud. The beds were not comfortable when you sat down, but I didn't really have a problem sleeping on them. The bathroom was not "dirty" but it didn't look fresh or inviting and there was a hair on my toilet. The room was very old - paint clearly hasn't been touched up and the walls are scuffed and dirty, there is a gap between the door and the floor, the light switches were dirty. ![]() I was able to get it to work the second time, but not before swiping it more than once and jarring the door open. My room lock did not work when I first checked in and I had to schlep back to the front to get the keys reset. I didn't feel very safe back there by myself. The walkways were dank and did not appear that they'd be very friendly at night. The rooms are motel style, stacked two stories with the doors opening to a walkway. So from a staff perspective, very nice and hospitable! The room I was provided was in the furthest building away from the entry and the pool. I want to be fair to say that everyone I encountered that worked here was extremely pleasant and wanted to be helpful - they are just working in the confines of what they have. I did not take any photos of my room because to be honest, I was trying very hard to ignore the conditions of it so as to now freak out and just get through sleeping two nights there. I think it is unfortunate that hotels/motels/resorts are not required to be more honest about the condition of their hotel but please know it looks nothing like the stock photos provided. I'm leaving this review because I think its very misleading that this motel (this is not a hotel, nor a resort) has a very good rating.
